The Britzer Garten Berlin hosts the Britzer Gartennacht, a captivating event where the garden transforms into a fantastical realm filled with magical experiences and mystical creatures. The evening includes music, interactive stations featuring mythical beings, illuminated plants, and a path leading through various landscapes, from meadows to a dragon’s nest. The magical adventure is a perfect evening for the whole family.

👕 Kindertrödelmarkt @ Volkspark Potsdam

The Kindertrödelmarkt once again sets up its vast display in Volkspark Potsdam. Up to 100 stands will fill the park offering a wide range of items for kids, including clothing, shoes, books, games, and more. Visitors can also take a break from shopping to enjoy a snack at the available food trucks or get more information for families in Potsdam by visiting the stand of Pola Magazine. It’s an excellent opportunity to find items you may be searching for while enjoying the fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

🦉 Heule Eule @ Figurentheater Grashüpfer
Sat & Sun 12-13/08, 11.00, ages 2+
Visit the Figurentheater Grashüpfer to see the fantastic tale of the tiny owl. As the actors perform in the show, children are transported to the forest to discover more about the owl and other forest animals, including squirrels and beetles. The shoe lasts about 25 minutes for each performance.

🍎 Iss dich schlau – mit allen Sinnen! @ Kindermuseum unterm Dach

The Kindermuseum unterm Dach has two exhibitions currently on display made especially for children. “Iss dich schlau! Von Apfel bis Zimt” and “Eine Biene fliegt unterm Dach!” both allow children to learn and explore in a museum made just for them. Visit the museum on the weekend for different activities and hands-on workshops related to their current exhibitions.

🌻 Ferienprogramm: Kräuterspaß & Wildblüten Malwerkstatt @ Botanischen Garten Berlin
Sat & Sun 12-13/08, 11.00-15.00, ages 5+
The Botanischen Garten Berlin offers a summer program with activities designed specifically for young children. The workshops vary depending on the day, but all will provide lots of fun and learning opportunities for the whole family. In the Kräuterspaß workshop, participants explore flavors with herbs, making their own and tasting others. In the Wildblüten Malwerkstatt, visitors can be inspired by nature in their own paintings. Workshops start on the hour and last about 45 minutes; registration must be done on-site.
