This Saturday in Tempelhofer Feld, the Giant Kite Festival will celebrate its ninth year in Berlin. The festival displays a fantastic show of giant kites in every shape and size, including meter-long-legged squids and favorite characters, some kites stretching up to 40 meters long. Alongside these impressive kite displays, the event offers lots to do, including a stage with music, stunt kite performances, and other entertainment. A Children’s program features activities such as kite crafting, bouncy castles, and face painting. The day ends with a small fireworks show.

Potsdamer Platz celebrates 25 years with a two-day festival ending on Saturday. This free event offers a ton of activities perfect for the whole family. With a unique program dedicated to children’s activities, families can enjoy festival makeup, mask making, and a “spielstrasse” among other fun events. The festival also includes street foods to enjoy from around the world and extended hours at all of the shops.

The clown group Klavieriki puts on an exceptional show with the music of Beethoven. Part of a series where the clowns interpret the music of composers while also telling a story, this first part of the series features Beethoven. It is sure to be a great production combining clowning and classical music. While the show is designed for children ages 1-3, the music and format is sure to be a hit with music enthusiasts, young and old.

⛳️ Flohmarkt meets Minigolf @ Hertzberg Golf

Hertzberg Golf brings together visitors with a love of markets and Minigolf with their “Flohmarkt meets Minigolf” this Sunday at their Neukolln location. The market is excellent for the entire family to enjoy a day of shopping at the stalls set up at the mini golf course. Visitors can enjoy shopping and a round or more of golf, sure to make a fun and memorable Sunday event.
