🍦Berlin Ice cream festival @ Arena Berlin

This weekend it’s time for the Berlin Ice Cream Festival 2023! This exciting event offers a chance to indulge in over 100 varieties of artisanal ice cream, including special freshly made treats served throughout the day. Flavors will range from traditional to experimental, with options for sorbets, gelato, parfaits, and vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free treats available. In addition to the delicious ice cream, the festival will also feature live music and beverages.

☀️ Sommerfest Dahlem @ Domäne Dahlem

Sat 05/08, 12.30-13.30, all ages

Spend the weekend at Domäne Dahlem for their annual summer festival with a gourmet market and many more activities perfect for a day full of family fun. This festival has a full program, and you can expect beautiful surroundings and many workshops and events. The weekend will include many highlights, such as tractor rides, a theater for children, live music, and a water playground, just to name a few.

 🎶 Jazz für Babys & Kids @ Zitadelle Spandau

Sun 20/08, 11.00 & 13.00 (babys) 15.00 (kids), ages 6 and under

Bring the whole family to enjoy a wonderful jazz concert at the Zitadelle Spandau. The concert will be performed three times, with the first two performances being for younger children and the third one, especially for children a little bit older. Entrance is free for small children and siblings up to 18 years old. Don’t forget to bring a mat and everything your baby might need to enjoy the show.

⛵️ Leinen los! – Modellschiffe auf dem Museumsteich @ Deutsches Technikmuseum

Experience a unique sight at the pond of the Deutsches Technikmuseum this weekend as handcrafted miniature ships from skilled model builders from all over Berlin and Brandenburg take to the water. Visitors of all ages can watch, create paper ships, practice sailor knots, and even earn a ‘Boating License’ by piloting model boats in the children’s pool. This event promises a day of joy and learning for guests, young and old.

🌱 Entdeckungstour durch die Heide @ Sielmanns Naturlandschaft Döberitzer Heide

Enjoy some time outdoors connecting to nature with this nature tour through Döberitzer Heide. The tour is designed for families and will feature information and experiences centered around the natural landscape, activities include fishing, identifying insects, bird-watching, and hopefully, catching a glimpse of some grazing animals. Don’t forget to bring sturdy shoes for the adventure.

Take a weekend trip to Spargelhof Klaistow this Sunday, where you can enjoy the Familien-Flohmarkt. This event features a large area of many booths selling items, including toys, books, and clothes for children, as well as much more. Whether you are on the search for something specific or just there to browse, it is sure to be an exciting event with lots on offer. if you are up for more adventure after the day of shopping, be sure to stop by the Maislabyrinth also on the property.
